New features:
Temperature Sensors
Temperature sensors now support hot-plug discovery, which allows you to manually scan the bus when adding sensors. Restarting your Emonio after connecting a new sensor is no longer required. Go to SETUP, rescan the bus by clicking the rescan button in the bottom right corner, and assign the sensor to a slot. Click Save and Apply at the bottom, and the sensor will show up on HOME.
Power Quality Analyzer
All Emonio P3+ models now come with a Power Quality Analyzer, which can be found in the ANALYZER tab via the hamburger menu and provides a more detailed overview of power quality. In the wiki under "advanced configuration", you will find a detailed walkthrough on configuring the new Power Quality Analyzer.
A walkthrough of the operation can be found in the wiki under "operation".
Nebula UI
The new Nebula design is also part of our latest release. It provides a more modern look and consists of floating particles in the background, a deep space blue color palette, and refined graphics.
Minor Features
-
The web interface on mobile touch devices now allows swiping left or right for smooth navigation between pages.
-
The CLI line editor now supports UTF-8 character encoding.
-
Overall usability has been improved. In addition, a configurable auto-logout timeout has been added in SETUP.
Bug fixes:
In some rare cases, the Emonio sent the XTRM value 0V/0A on device boot. This issue has now been fixed.
The new release of our Emonio software now not only compensates for the continuous clock shift to avoid occasionally missing CSV entries, but also fixes issues with time synchronization through an improved NTP implementation, allowing for more accurate timekeeping.
